The problem
people have is that they want to exercise
and they know they should exercise but they
have to make a decision when they visit their
first health club and they don’t find
out what they are actually getting involved
in. When clients join our health club they
are given a full health screening to bench
mark their current health and fitness and
an exercise programme is devised from the
results. After eight weeks we go through a
re-assessment to see if there are any improvements.
This is an ongoing process and members become
motivated through the process and see their
fitness improve.
Personal exercise programmes
Exercise programmes
are very important when it comes to improving
health and fitness and keeping people interested.
Once the health and wellness assessment has
been completed the fitness coaches put together
a personal exercise programme to suit the
clients needs, the programme is then coached
to the client to make sure they understand
what they are doing but more importantly that
the exercises are done correctly and safely.
Programmes are reviewed every four weeks and
a new programme is written every eight weeks.
This is a great way to keep people motivated.
Specific training
As well as general
exercise programmes clients can receive personal
training programmes for more specific areas,
ranging from back care to rehab. The fitness
coaches can devise programmes for all forms
of exercising. We are now proud to open our

Personal training
We offer personal
training as an extra service, members receive
their personal exercise programme and assessment
but a lot of people suffer from lack of motivation
and direction. Personal Training helps people
develop fitness and encourages efficient exercise
and progression. All training sessions are
1-1 and are set to the level of the client;
it is a great way to improve self belief and
confidence through 1-1 coaching.
Cardio rehabilitation
We are delighted
to introduce the cardio programme. Working
alongside the Wellington hospital we have
devised a training programme to help people
after heart problems and disease. The programme
is 1-1 based and the programme is controlled
through strict monitoring and development
of the cardio programme. This is open to all
clients and is becoming popular with all ages
with all types of cardio injuries.
Free parking
Parking is permitted
subject to availability of space, and unfortunately
no parking spaces are available on match days
or on the two days immediately preceding major
matches.
