The Village: Class Studio Timetable

All classes are open to non-members at £7 per class.

For those passionate about classes but not wanting to join the health club, a class pass entitles you to attend any 12 classes for £60 bringing the cost down to an average £5 per class. Please ask reception for more details.

To avoid disappointment, please check with us that the date and time of your chosen course is correct.

You may either use the scroll bar or the drop-down menu to go to the day of the week you are interested in. You will then see the day's timetable.

To see a class's description simply move your mouse over the class name to find out more information about the class. The class description will appear in the area of the page below the grey line that is underneath the class timetable.

Total Body Conditioning

A great class to improve overall body tone. Combines a high energy workout to improve aerobic fitness & conditioning, using hand weights, body bar, step & fit ball.

Aqua

Aqua aerobics is a great way to improve cardiovascular fitness & body tone. A class for all levels which generally focuses on using the water as a means of resistance.

Pilates

The pilates method is a complete approach to developing body awareness. Pilates can help you focus your attention on creating a sense of inner calm & balance by letting go & releasing the tension within your body.

Tai Chi

Tai chi offers a great environment to relax in after a stressful day. Learn how to "calm the mind", whilst also learning about this ancient martial art.

Yoga

Yoga offers a relaxed environment where you will learn how to improve posture, flexibility & strength. We offer two types of yoga, hatha & Ashtanga. Please ask our yoga instructors for more information.

Studio Jam

This class offers an overall body workout for all abilities, incorporating many styles such as hip hop, funk, latin, disco & many more, through an interval based workout programme.

Legs, Bums & Tums (LBT)

A fun all round aerobic workout run at a moderate pace for all abilities to enjoy and is ideal for anyone new to aerobic classes.

Step

Step offers a high impact workout which will enable you to develop coordination in a safe environment. By encouraging a wide range of movement the workout is intensified, offering a great all-round workout. Step circuit a fun energising class for all levels. A variety of stations using steps, weights & bands. An excellent class for achieving all-round fitness for men & women.

Step Circuit

A fun, energising class for all levels using a variety of stations including use of steps, free weights and bands. An excellent class for achieving all-round fitness for men and women.

Boxercise

A popular class for all levels of fitness which focuses on an intense workout combining punching as well as an opportunity to release some stress on one of our punch bags.

Sunrise Pilates

This new class has been introduced for anyone who wants to start the day feeling relaxed and revitalised. The class runs until 8am, however you have the option to leave at 7.45 if you are heading to work.

Latino rhythms

A unique class which offers a great all-round workout with the use of a series of choreographed dance routines. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness.

Aqua - Yoga

Aqua - yoga is a great class for both relaxation & improving flexibility & strength. By using the buoyancy of the water it assists anyone who has difficulty with floor exercises in standard yoga.

Circuit Blast

A fun, energetic class for all levels combining free weights and cardio training aimed at achieving a high level of fitness. A class for men and women!!

Self Defence

Learn self defence in a relaxed and fun setup where individual attention provides a better learning environment.

Cardio Swiss Ball

With swiss ball as the basis for the class, the circuit-based exercises predominantly focus on core strength & abdominal toning. Furthermore the class offers an intensive cardio workout for all abilities.

AB Crunch

The AB Crunch class focuses mainly on toning rather than creating excessive body heat. The class is for designed for both men and women.

Circuits

A combination of cardio and strength training that allows the participant to work to their own fitness level. The class puts you through a variety of strength, cardio and flexibility stations. Feel free to go at your own pace in this highly motivating dynamic workout.

Pump & Tone

This class uses a variety of weights and other equipment to strengthen and tone the body while improving cardio fitness. Suitable for all levels, male and female.

Body Pump

The most successful group fitness programme in history, BODYPUMP® is a 45-60 minute class using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning.

After an initial warm-up, all the major muscle groups are worked via a series of weight-bearing exercises including squats, presses and lifts. The class finishes with a cool-down and stretch.
