1. Eat a good breakfast, have a mid-morning healthy snack. Try to have main meal at lunch time and mid afternoon snack with a lighter evening meal.
2. Eating little and often keeps blood sugar balanced and energy levels even.
3. Keep food simple and fresh.
4. Have smaller portions.
5. Try to eat sitting down and eat slowly.
6. Skip faddy diets they don’t work long term.
7. Replace ready meals with home cooked simple food. Try new recipes.
8. Small changes will be easier to stick to particularly with regular exercise.
9. Keep hydrated all day with plenty of water and herbal teas.
10. Replace sweet treats with other ways to spoil yourself.e.g a long bath or a good book.
The odd treat won’t hurt just think MODERATION!
